Young Farmers’ is a forward thinking, modern organisation it is open to anyone between the ages of 10 to 26. Competitions are at the heart of YFC and there is a huge range to choose from such as stock judging to craft or performing arts, to help you develop new skills and have fun at the same time. There really is a competition for everyone…and one thing that Young Farmers members have is a good social life. Young Farmers also promote a travel programme which enables members to jet off on loads of exciting trips, homestays and working exchanges to destinations around the world. From white water rafting in Canada to sheep shearing in New Zealand. It’s a great way to explore the world without it costing the earth.
